WHAT IS ARCHANGELS?
ARCHANGELS is a nationwide effort that leverages the retail channel as a way to identify, thank, and support caregivers by connecting them to the caregiver infrastructure that already exists (but that most caregivers don’t know about.)
ARCHANGELS has a lot of heart, a lot of hope, and a ferocious commitment to changing the world.
We believe that retail is the front line of health.
Our goal is to be the trusted resource supporting caregivers and to re-frame how caregivers are perceived and supported.
WHO ARE WE?
We are a small team dedicated to big change. We bring a collection of experiences and skills to our collaboration with each other, and our partners. In true start-up fashion, we each have our strengths, but it is our collective ‘just get it done’ spirit that best describes how we work. Here is a little bit more about each of us…
Alexandra Drane, Wellness Expert, CO-Founder of ARCHANGELS:
Alexandra Drane has focused for over 20 years on using technology to help people live happier, healthier and more productive lives. She brings the full force of her experience, vision and determination to address the biggest challenges that we as individuals, as an industry, and as a nation face.
A serial entrepreneur, Alexandra is the co-founder of ARCHANGELS, Engage with Grace, and Eliza Corporation (among other companies), all rooted in a core belief of hers: the definition of health should include “life.” She also works part time as a cashier at Walmart as she believes retail is the front line of health. Alex was named one of Disruptive Women in Health Care’s “Women to Watch” in 2014, and one of Boston Globe’s 2013 Top 100 Women Leaders. She is also an inventor on multiple patents and sits on the Board of Advisors of TEDMED, the Harvard Executive Sleep Council, and is Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard Teaching Hospital. Additionally, she is a Governor appointed member of the Executive Committee for the Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative, a member of the Board of Directors of the Coalition to Transform Advanced Care (C-TAC), and part of the Health Executive Leadership Network.

Sarah Stephens Winnay
Sarah brings 20 years of experience building data products and insights-driven consumer experiences in the healthcare space. Throughout the course of her career, Sarah has most often held titles related to Marketing, Product Management, and Strategy, for companies like Health Media, Eliza, Aetna, and Medicity. As a Co-Founder of Rebel Health and ARCHANGELS, Sarah is thrilled to join forces with an amazing team whose passion for helping people live happier, healthier, and more productive lives is unmatched. Sarah is also proud to serve on the Board of Advisers to The Second Step, an organization that partners with survivors to address the aftermath of abuse and build brighter futures for themselves and their children.
Sarah studied Political Science at Dickinson College and has an MBA from the University of Michigan, with the requisite amount of fierce loyalty to Michigan sports. She spends any moments not focused on Rebel Health, on a baseball field somewhere, trying to pretend to not be a crazy baseball parent.
Coming from PUMA where she was the Global Video Director, Amy is dedicated to there being a smooth process between the creative and production cycles of any given project. As Creative Director, she is known for scribbling interactive mind-maps of where we’re at and where we're going (and then drawing rabbit-like characters that are too emotionally accurate on the edges of the page.) She helps bridge strategy with the elements needed to ‘make things real’, and then helps bring them to life by directing videos and working with our team to design the objects we implement in The ARCHANGELS Experience, both online and in-store. She is a creative systems thinker and loves working with our small team to make big things happen and is particularly thrilled to be working on projects ‘that actually help people.’
Amy was a dual major in both Sculpture and Studio for Interrelated Media (S.I.M.) at The Massachusetts College of Art and Design. She is training to be a Reiki Master and is a dedicated gardener, a burgeoning ceramicist, and a prolific yet intensely private artist and writer. Amy dotes on her husband, two small dogs, her family and friends, and has been known in some circles as both a beekeeper and an activist.
Susan has an entrepreneurial spirit and has developed many retail businesses from the ground up. An entrepreneur with a creative fervor for training & development, Susan loves the start-up, ground-up process and has transformed empty parking lots into gorgeous-successful-bustling marketplaces. She’s a ‘trainable trainer’ with a PHR from SHRM. Susan excels at providing tools and guidance for success, as well as implementing written documentation that results in accountability and compliance. As the Training and Development Leader for ARCHANGELS, and a current Walmart Associate, Susan believes that retail is the front line of health and that ARCHANGELS is making a significant difference in the world by reaching caregivers where they live their lives.
Susan has been a caregiver in Boston area for her four children and aging parents. She holds a BA in economics from Bentley University where she graduated magna cum laude.
Erin Stolte is an operations enthusiast with a passion for helping start-ups build an operational foundation for success. Having worked with dozens of start-ups over the past ten years across a wide spectrum of industries, she has seen the organizational challenges that can be alleviated by creating flexible structure without stifling innovation. Erin has a BA in Biochemistry, MS in Biotechnology, and JD, all from Texas Tech University. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Erin is based in Austin, Texas where she lives with her husband and two kids. When allergy season is cooperating, she loves getting outside with her family (read: burning toddler energy).
Alicia Barron has seven years experience in Project Management for technology and educational start-ups where users get the chance to learn, change and grow. She has worked in several capacities such as business development, marketing, operations and leadership roles.
In her free time, Alicia is dedicated to education for youth in the Fine Arts. She is a part time Teacher/Choreographer at St. Stephens High School in Austin as well as a Musical Theater teacher at the Christian Youth Theater. In addition to teaching, Alicia choreographs productions at both places, including ‘The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee’ this spring.
Alicia has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX and she is the 2019 Recipient of the St. Edward’s University Alumni Achievement Service Award. She is recently engaged, and in the very few minutes of time she has left, she spends with her better half and her sweet Chiweenie- Bobo, occasionally playing piano and composing her own music.
