You're carrying
a lot
Let's name it

You've been doing this without a name for it. The calls you take in the car because it's the only quiet place. Holding it together in the room, falling apart in the parking lot. That's caregiving. And you've earned the right to have it seen.

Welcome fellow Archangel

You're not
“just”
anything

Over 40% of adults are doing this. Most of them don't know it. They're “just” a daughter making the doctor appointments. “Just” a neighbor picking up the prescriptions. “Just” a friend who shows up – every time, without being asked. That's not “just” anything. That's caregiving. And it has a name, a score, and support behind it.

Welcome, fellow Archangel.

That intensity you're feeling? It's real, and you are not alone.

Wings up!

A score is just the start.

In about two minutes, you'll get your Caregiver Intensity score — red, yellow, or clear — plus a read on what's driving it, what may help, and language for the stuff you've been carrying but haven't had words for yet.

01 · Caregiver resources

Caregiver
resources

You don't have time to dig for resources. And there's nothing more maddening than finally finding one – only to realize it's not the help you actually need.

So we did the digging. Here's a list we've pulled together to make the good things good-er and the hard things better.

02 · A collaboration with The Joint Commission

The Care
Badge

A collaboration between ARCHANGELS and The Joint Commission, the Care Badge is a way to honor, celebrate, and support all people do to care for others. It recognizes the skills it takes to care and is a tool for sharing those skills with others – think: on a resume, in a social media post, as a phone background.

It can also help translate skills into opportunities when used alongside ARCHANGELS Work (more on that in a sec…).

Get your badge, gift it straight to someone's inbox with a personalized message, OR even better – do both. It's all free.

Already got your badge? You can download it again to use in a new way. Let's go!

03 · Caring is a real job

ARCHANGELS
Work

ARCHANGELS Work is a tool for caregivers who had to leave a job to provide care – or who've been holding down two jobs at once. It walks you through the skills you've built caregiving and hands you the words to put on your resume, your LinkedIn, and into a job interview – the ones that actually mean something to an employer.

You didn't have a gap. You had a job. Medication management. Care coordination. Navigating insurance, hospitals, family dynamics, and decisions nobody prepares you for. That's not a blank space on your resume – that's a skill set.

ARCHANGELS Work gives you the language to say so. Pick the skills that match what you've actually done. Copy them into your resume, your LinkedIn, your next interview.

Any care counts. All of it.

The Soundtrack of Care

You are not alone.

When caregivers hear from other caregivers, the room changes. Below – real responses, in real words, from people who've sat in our sessions and seen their own intensity score for the first time.

AMEN to that!!! I have no time to take care of myself and don't know where to start!
No surprise, I am in the RED – 60
This is so true – I cared for a husband with cancer, now helping 3 parents, helping children and grandchildren. There are days it is overwhelming.
I agree! I am so tired of people telling me "to take care of myself" and no one showing up to help me care for my parent!
YES! I love the Care Badge!!!
This is very important for leaders to be vulnerable and transparent. They are human, have challenges and give their employees the psychological safety to confess they are going through challenges too. We all have to build resiliency together and encourage one another.
The 'invisible' problem and seemingly no help available. Even our hospitals are relying more on the 'family caregivers'.
That's me. Chocolate is my "drug of choice."
Wow. I'm in the red. :(
Use the score to normalize the situation. Opens the conversation and that's the first step.
Completely in the red and no surprise – 68
I think constant "incoming" is responsible for some of this. Social media, emails, phone calls, people who need things.
I'm smiling with tears in my eyes!
We are badasses! Preach!!
I think her presentation is excellent. Until one becomes a caregiver which I became for both parents and then, for my husband for the past 10 years, one does not know the stress and impact. I have not been a caregiver for a child for a long period of time. Caregiving for my husband for ten years was the worst experience of my life.
Oh geez! I have a 16 & an 11-year-old, my in-laws live in an ADU on our property, and my mom lives in a memory care facility down the road – I'm in big trouble!
Yes, I can speak to this – Isolation is REAL! I get excited when I actually get to leave the house (mom with dementia and stroke in my home at hospice and working and having breast cancer).
I'm at 82 in the red!
This is so cool! Can't wait to share with family member who I know are majorly in the red.
I did not know how much I needed this! Great presentation!
OMG…this presentation hits home!!
Completely in the red – :(
For me respite services are much more helpful than pay (not that pay isn't helpful).
I love the common language, helps me diffuse right away.
I am 64 in the red!!
Thank you for exposing the elephant(s) in the room!!!
Thank you for sharing these findings! Stress from caregiving is extremely overwhelming!
Incredibly validating to hear perimenopause mentioned in this forum! It is real and hugely impacts women in that age group! "A complete hormonal shift".
Surprised I'm 57 Red. I know I am much more anxious and easily frustrated! This will be helpful in identifying self-care!
Oh this is bringing tears to my eyes, because it is so true!
100% reason my parents divorced!
Caregiver response "In the Red" – self-identified high intensity

Verbatim responses from ARCHANGELS sessions. The Soundtrack of Care™ is the chorus we hear when caregivers see their own intensity for the first time.
